MyTapau, a newly launched local food delivery service based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah has decided to join in on the rapid growth of the food delivery market. MyTapau officially started operating in November 2021, offering self pick-ups and food delivery services in areas as far as North such as Inanam, and South to Putatan. Striving to be the best local delivery platform in terms of quality of service and food, MyTapau enables sellers to gain exposure as well as enables traditional home-based chefs to transition to an online platform quick and easy. MyTapau app is available for download on Google PlayStore, Apple AppStore, Huawei App Gallery. MyTapau uses a prepaid wallet system that allows users to top-up from RM30 up to RM500. The e-Wallet system allows MyTapau to run wallet promotions from time to time. Currently, for every top-up of RM50, you will be given a top-up bonus of RM15 and a bonus of RM40 for every top-up of RM100. Now that’s generous! On top of that, upon signing up, users will also be awarded with a welcome bonus of RM5. Moreover, when you refer a friend, you will be entitled to a referral bonus, with terms and conditions applied. The fun doesn't end there as MyTapau also does daily prize giveaways but fret not, their promotions are 100% platform promotions, which means that it won’t deduct anything from their sellers or riders. ‘Find Good Food, Senang Bah!’ is what you will see on the loading screen of the MyTapau app. Staying true to its tagline, the MyTapau mobile app is simple and user-friendly. The red and white interface is designed to be attractive yet easy to navigate. The app also allows their muslim consumers to filter halal restaurants by tapping on the green icon on top of the screen or turn on the Muslim Friendly Menu toggle at the Edit My Profile page. Furthermore, currently with over 100 local restaurant vendors on its list, you will be spoiled with a wide variety of food menus that are on the MyTapau app. All you have to do is sign up, top-up your prepaid wallet, find the food you want and place the order. Apart from expanding their list of vendors, MyTapau will also be adding pre-order services for seasonal food products and home-based chefs, and a separate express delivery service for food and grocery in the near future.
